Picture

  • Passport. Do you have least 6 months until your passport expiry from the date you want to ENTER Indonesia?
  • Visa. Do you have a visa if you require one? (see below)
  • Return Ticket. Have you purchased a return flight? You can’t fly into Bali without showing one.
  • Tourism Fee. Save time upon arrival and organise in advance. Applicable for all international travellers.
  • Health Pass Form. Save time upon arrival and organise in advance. Applicable for all international travellers.
  • Customs Form. Save time upon arrival and organise in advance. Applicable for all international travellers.

Travel requirements can change at short notice, always check government websites for the latest information.

Passport
If you are travelling to Indonesia, your passport must be valid for 6 months from the date you arrive.

Visa
The 2 main factors that determine the Visa you need to enter Indonesia as a tourist are your nationality and length of stay:
  • For stays less than 30 days: Citizens from 90+ countries can get the simple B1 Tourist (Visa upon Arrival) which is an e-visa. Cost: IDR 500,000 (approx. US $32). You can apply online here. From the dropdown menus choose: MAIN PURPOSE: General, Family or Social. SUB PURPOSE: Tourism, family visit, and Transit. VISA: B1 Tourist (Visa On Arrival).
  • Citizens of ASEAN countries do NOT need a Visa. You can check if your country needs a visa here.
  • Travellers from countries that are not eligible for a Visa on Arrival MUST apply for their relevant Visa BEFORE arrival.

Bear in mind that some applications may take longer than expected to process. Make sure to get this done sooner rather than later. If you require hotel booking confirmations, let us know early!

Tourism Fee
From 14 February 2024, the Balinese government introduced a tourism fee to help preserve the nature and culture of Bali. Cost: IDR 150,000 (approx. US $10). To save time upon arrival in Bali, we recommend you pay the fee in advance by visiting the official website here.

If for any reason you are unable to pay prior to departure, alternative payment options are available on arrival in Bali, although you will need to budget in more time to stand in the long queues at immigration ☹️

Some exemptions may apply. Click here to find out more.

Mandatory Health Screening Form
From 27 August 2024, the Indonesian Government requires all international travellers arriving in the country to compete an electronic health declaration form. Complete the SATUSEHAT Health Pass (SSHP) Form before boarding your flight to speed up your immigration process at the other end and get into lovely, warm Bali quicker 🐠🏝️😎

Once the form is completed, a QR code will be generated. Travellers should save the QR code by taking a screen capture or leaving the website open on their device. Authorities will scan the QR code in the airport arrivals area. You may also wish to download the SATUSEHAT app.

On the topic of health, you might want to check your country's travel sites for any vaccination advice
. Consult your medical provider if in doubt.

Customs Form
Complete the Customs Declaration form online and save time, but do so ONLY on the official website here.

The form can be completed 3 days before arrival in Bali. One form per family is allowed. You can save the QR code to your phone or you can print it out. Paper forms are normally available on the flights or upon arrival. If you arrive in Bali and go to the customs checking area without the QR code you will be asked to go and complete the form and queue again - not fun!

We hope this page has been helpful to you 😁 We are not travel agents, just dancers travelling to Bali like you!
So please remember that travel requirements can change at short notice.
Always check government websites for the latest information.
