Teaching since 2009, Mevans made dance his career; striving to improve technique, musicality and creative movement in dancers to help them become competent and confident.

Mevans is performance! World Modern Jive Championship triple winner and holding the Grand Masters and Open winner title in many other Championships (over 120 trophies at last count!), Mevans is no stranger to getting the crowd going with his unique styling, relentless energy and diverse abilities.

Heidi & Deej Moors

Deej and Heidi are Open Champions and Grandmasters known for their passion, humility, and love of dance.

You'll always find them on the floor—dancing with everyone, from beginners to fellow champions. As dedicated teachers, they bring energy, insight, and generosity to every space they enter.
Their approach is rooted in connection, musicality, and joy, making them not just inspiring dancers, but also kind and accessible mentors in the dance community.

Ekow Oduro

Ekow is an internationally recognised dance instructor known for his expertise in Modern Jive, West Coast Swing and Zouk. With a vibrant teaching style, Ekow captivates students by focusing on musicality, connection, and creative expression.
He has performed and taught at numerous prestigious events, blending styles with smooth transitions and a unique interpretation of modern and traditional dance forms. Ekow continues to inspire dancers across the globe with his innovative approach and passion for partner dance.

Phillip Bunn & Sarah Grzesiak

Phillip & Sarah are accomplished dancers from Brisbane, Australia. With over 20 years of combined experience and an unwavering commitment to the Modern Jive dance community, they share their passion and knowledge wholeheartedly — nurturing growth, confidence & connection in every dancer they meet.

Their collaboration shines in both classes & choreography, blending creativity, technique and fun while pushing the style forward through shape & motion.
With Phil's cheeky charm balanced by Sarah's sharp wit, this standout duo brings inspiration & energy to the dance.

Patryck & Wendy Allen

Crowd favourites Patryck & Wendy will be joining the CPAC party for the 6th time in 2026. Together they bring 40 years of dance experience and countless champions level Ceroc placings between them.
Wendy started her dancing journey in New Zealand, learning Ceroc, Salsa, Bachata, Zouk, and Kizomba, but always came back to Ceroc because of its freedom to bend the rules and draw on inspiration from other dance styles.
Best known for his technique and musicality, Patryck loves sharing what he has learnt with all of his students and building dance communities to promote and
evolve Ceroc as a dance.

Hannah & Ryan Phillips-Wood

With a combined 20 years of Ceroc modern jive experience, Ryan and Hannah have a passion for training, teaching, performing and helping modern jive grow to new heights. The modern jive community is family to them, and they’re excited to meet so many new friends from around the world.
They bring with them many accolades in the champions division in New Zealand, and they’re excited to share some of what they’ve learned along the way.

Ruby Nicholson & Hati Nui

Modern Jive instructors from iDance Studio in Wellington, New Zealand, Ruby & Hati are excited to meet you all and share their passion for dance. Their focus has always been on connection and partnership, as they believe these are the key elements that make dancing truly enjoyable. Excited to teach at CPAC for the first time, they'll be exploring connection, refinement of movement, and are looking forward to creating an experience that feels both inspiring and meaningful.
